      SU Version: 6.0.1099
      Vray Version: 1.49.84

Having a very basic but frustrating problem atm. In the past when I have assigned vray materials to my model and gone to render they have come out fine, but on my latest concept I seem to have missed out a step and find myself with some invisible groups, components and surfaces! If anyone could direct me towards a basic "material assigner for Vray noobs" tutorial that would be great.

I've checked this post out (http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?f=322&t=18865&p=154503&hilit=assign+materials+vray#p154503), is the fact im applying materials to group/components and not faces the problem?

      Cheers all

"Vray Version: 1.49.84" - this isn't a real VfSU version number. Are you getting this number from the VFB along with the render time info? (that version number is not refering to the VfSU version. You need to look in the about section of VfSU if you are using the old VfSU (which I think you are) or in Window > Preferences > Extensions if you are using the latest.)

The older VfSU versions has some issues where it would not render groups in some cases. Depending on what version you have you might only need to reload the model.

(btw - why are you using such an old SU version - you're not even using the latest service release of SU6. That could also be causing problems...)
