Two questions abuot the paint bucket.....
-
First one is probably really easy. Probably having something to do with the choice to "match color of object in model" button but I can't seem to get it to work. Let's say I fill a panel with a specific color. Later I want to use that exact same shade/texture/etc on another item/panel. So far I have been unable to determine how to do this. Is there some method of 'click' on the color/texture identity and 'paste' that to another entity?
Second question... more difficult perhaps....
How do I change all X to Y? If there are 55 items in my file that are colored with shade/texture X, how can I change them all to Y without repainting every indidual panel?

An alternative to the eye-dropper' is to press Alt and the cursor should change momentarily.
If a material is applied to 'raw' faces then in the Materials-Browser hover over the required material and right-click 'Select' to select all active faces with that material. Then pick another material and repaint all selected.
Alternatively pick a face and right-click context-menu Select > Same Material to do the same selection and then repaint etc.
However, if materials are applied directly onto groups/instances then you need a 'script' - there are several 'global-material-changer' tools available...
