I like the black look, I'm sure it would have been a standard color back in the day.

yess I agree the blue looks better than black, render wise anyway, I thought the brass looked good I think it would look good it pearl/white with chrome trimmings!

i have used IBL but I'll definitely give the shadow catcher a whirl. But I've also been looking at this to see how the pro's do it. But that's way off

Why not to use some HDR studio then. I am sure zbyg's HDR studios are familiar to meny, those are available also as high res at here.

Trying out 'Shadow Catcher' and DOF with Thea. Really not happy with strength of the shadow or the tyre material so any feedback or pointers are really appreciated.
