[WIP] Bugatti Brescia Type 13

Here's something that has become a bit of a labour of love when i've time to model. I'm not a car model enthusiast but engineering is where my use of SU lies. This came about from a visit to a Vintage Car Show last year where this car struck a chord. So simple in design but elegant in form. A bit out of my league at €400,000 to €2,000,000 depending on condition!
It's proved difficult to source as many images as possible. At the time i thought i took enough but lesson learned there. The suspension is proving a real pain to source but its enjoyable.
Feel free to comment or even better offer some advice!

Excellent modeling, very clean and neat ....possible improvement ...more detail perhaps?

Would say this is 20% complete so it'll be quite some time before I get to the detail work!

Youtube is often a good source for missing details.
Here is one Vid that you might be able to fine tune your details from, and I'm sure there are plenty more.

looks really interesting, i'd like to see you render it completely rusted up in a field somewhere
u may need to increase the subdivisions on the curves of the front grill -

A little update... as i'm not getting much time to spend at it
The Front suspension is proving difficult to source so some of this is artistic licence gone mad...
Rebuilt the front to up the segment count, as suggested

looks good, i would re-do the tyres as there is a lot of noticeable segmentation

Complete re-work of the wheels, front-end and suspension system. Rear suspension and cabin to complete. Weighing in at 3.37mb since raising segment count but worth it, i think?

The Saga Continues....
Haven't finished the model but decided to experiment with color schemes and presentation. These first set of images are Composer output which has a certain NPR style i like...
I realised afterward that the black was the wrong option and the brass was too reflective in areas. Next up is some Twilight output, Interior+ 144 passes 1200px X 574px...
Again its early days and i've only gone with texturing en masse so far. Still enjoying the whole process as it's throws up interesting issues each time.
It's down to detailing at this stage and some tweaking here. Please feel free to add suggestions for materials, lighting etc...Rich

Me thinks this would work great for a future 'Render this' challenge.
I like the black look, I'm sure it would have been a standard color back in the day.

yess I agree the blue looks better than black, render wise anyway, I thought the brass looked good I think it would look good it pearl/white with chrome trimmings!
