      Hi πŸ˜„
Uhmm so I am having a problem with pretty much every object I export. I'm trying to export some models that I've made into Unity, which works fine. The problem is that the faces reversed side dose not show or collide, so it turns it into a 1-way wall sort of thing (cool as that sounds that's not what I'm looking for). I've found that when you extrude a face and give it depth (a really thin square) it works fine as it has 2 faces next to eachother that can both face either direction.

So is there a plugin or anything that can set all of the faces into a certain thickness? Or add another wall to they're back-to-back? I could go through manually but that would take ages as my model has many faces and objects. I'm also using the free trial for the pro version so I can export into .fbx so taking the time to manually add thickness to the faces would waste trial time.

I've tried a few plugins that can reverse my faces, but then the opposite side becomes a 1-way wall.

Sorry for troubling you with such a simple question. (I came here rather than the Unity forums seeing that sketchup was the source of the problem, and I hope this is the right section as I couldn't see anywhere else fitting for it)

Edit: I tried making two of the same, reversing all the faces one one of them, and adding them together but sketchup deletes them if they overlap perfectly. I have made a temporary fix by doing the same step, but exporting them seperatly and adding them together in unity. I've fixed all my problems but the process of doing them isn't easy, nor something i would take the time to do to each model, so the request for a plugin descrbed above is still out there

When you export to fbx [or several other formats like obj] there's an 'Options' button bottom-right of the dialog... that has "export-double-sided-faces" as an option to 'tick' - isn't that what you really want to do ???

facepalm I remember seeing the options button once or twice but each time I focused on something else. Worked perfectly, thank you and sorry for the trouble πŸ˜„
