Spain showed much improvement from group games, definitely are keeping the best for last, I believe they will make it to the semi finals easily as Paraguay will try defend as they do not have the strikers to beat Spain. Hopefully if Germany came overcome the Argentinians (tough game) then They can meet Spain in the semi's, always a great game between the two.

We are awake here in Holland, and we are ready to show the world our real face.
Today we are going to the next round, the semi-finals, because we beat the Brazilians.
I predict a score: Netherlands - Brazil 2-0
goals a coming from ROBBEN en KUYT. -
Can't wait for today's games. My predictions are:
Netherlands 1 v 3 Brazil
Uruguay 2 v 0 Ghana -
Everybody in Holland is ready for hopefully a beautiful day.

The last two days without WC action have been tough, glad we got some games today and tomorrow.
Some real tough to call ones like Brazil vs Netherlands, I'd like to see the Dutch win this one and live to fight another day, but the opponents are Brazil and I need not saying anything more.

What an unbelievable game that was. Uruguay go through via a blatant bit of cheating, yet Ghana can't capitalise with the Penalty.
Gyan must have balls of steel to take the first peno after he missed with the last kick of the match. And it was a brilliant penalty at that, too.
No idea which way tomorrows Argentina v Germany game will go, although I have a suspicion the Argies will have too much for the Germans. Spain SHOULD progress fairly easily.

Uruguay paid for the 'cheating' with both a penalty and losing a red-carded striker for the next game. Despite their mistakes they move on as one of the top four best teams in the World. Not bad for a small country.

Indeed, Ghana couldn't capitlise and it's their own fault. However, I'm not sure you can deny it was a flagrant and shamless bit of cheating though. Well done to Uruguay though. Great performance.
