World Cup!
-
It just occurred to me, if Germany failed to score, it just proves how utterly schiesse England actually were this time round!!
-
Juan,
Congratulations to the Spain for there first WC final, but i am a little bit worried for the Spain.
They haven't get the scoring potential like Holland (Snijder, Robben, van Persie, Kuyt, van Bommel) everything comes from Villa. Against Germany it was a defender who scored. All those many chances who missed.I hope for you the Spain will win, but for me Holland is the best.
When Spain win the world cup, i come to Madrid and i reach you a surprise like a dinner neighborhood from the stadium off Real Madrid (who is my favorite club in Spain) -

.... as much as it hurts it's deserved.
thank you solo,
that honors you ¡and thank you too, HvanEssen
but be aware not to be scored in the final match
my team is Barsa but i will be very pleased to dinner with you in the nearby of Real Madrid stadium if SPAIN wins
we both got to the final, now let the best of us get the CUP
cheers -
Juan,
As a trainer from an amateur club in Holland, the club wich demy de Zeeuw learned soccer, and a great fan off Feyenoord Rotterdam, im am a fan off real madrid. This also given in the fact that Barcelona has got many dutch players but the most came from Ajax Amsterdam.
Real Madrid have got a trainer from Feyenoord (Beenhakker). But also the dutch squad this year has a lot off Feyenoord. van Marwijk, Kuyt, van Persie en van Bronckhorst (also Barca) are coming from Feyenoord or have played their.
El Cenador del Prado is i think a very good place to eat.

HvanEssen, I have been reading, and someone says that the National Anthem of Netherlands, called Wilhelmus, says this:
William of Nassau
am I, of Dutch[14] blood.
Loyal to the fatherland
I will remain until I die.
A prince of Orange
am I, free and fearless.
The king of Spain
I have always honoured.Video with lyrics of the fragment (sorry, this time I wasn't able to insert the video):
Does it means that Netherlands is going to lose next sunday to prove your loyalty to the kings of Spain? The king Juan Carlos can't go after a surgical operation, but the Queen and the Prince are going.

No it means that in football, actually the Dutch players in Spanish clubs are the kings!!
-

Pichuneke,
I like your reaction but is not quite correct because, it is not dutch blood but german. So we are honored the king of Spain, with our German blood.William of Nassau
am I, of German blood.
Loyal to the fatherland
I will remain until I die.
A prince of Orange
am I, free and fearless.
The king of Spain
I have always honored. But when we are going is history, then you can say that South-Africa and Kaapstad are founded and raised from dutch people. That is way they have a language with a dutch accent in it.
With our German Blood and our Spanish King and the Dutch Strength we will win this cup. Just like the european cups from Barcelona comes from the foot of the dutch players.

I was joking, sometimes I have limitations writting in english language, I hope you understand that I wish that the best wins next sunday Anyway I copied the translation of the anthem from Wikipedia.
I know that spanish are not very loved there (Something about the Duque de Alba to frighten the kids? ). Don't worry, it's the past.
I have to leave, I haven't corrected the text, sorry for the english!
Note: I was in South Africa 10 years ago. I know the dutch accent when they speak english... sometimes I couldn't understand anything!

This is it!! the final game that will decide who truly is the greatest football playing nation in the world.
I was glad to see Germany beat Uruguay yesterday to claim third place, I hoped they'd be playing today but Spain proved stronger on the day and deservedly so, good news is that Loew will be retained and the squad is so young that we will see them again in Brazil 2014.
Now for the Netherlands vs Spain game, I worry about that frigging octopus Paul, who has predicted every single game this world cup correctly, as he did with Euro 2008 with exception of the final game (also involving Spain) which he got wrong, maybe, just maybe he suffers from BMT (big match temperament) and is wrong again today, if not then the Dutch will need to add calamari to their fries and peanut dip tonight.
I hope for a clean game, without Robben falling over his own feat and crying foul, a game fit for a final, a goal extravaganza if possible.
At the end of the night we will be crowning a new winner, one that has never lifted this trophy before, congratulations to both teams for reaching this point and may the best team win.

My sentiments exactly.
I do think Spain will win tonight, I haven't been impressed by the Dutch this WC at all.
-
thank you leedeetee and thankyou solo, but as the video says lets dream it is for us all,
so,
HOLLAND, AND spain ARE RULING THE DREAM FOR THE NEXT 4 FOURS YEARS
and SPAIN is going to win the**CUP**(mind you that i have had an snap SIESTA this afternoon and visualized how Casillas mixed himself and got a goal inside just before the first half and my others players took tha ball and hide it so well that no one noticed..)
so it is forme 2 half the one to decide.Cheers everybody
AND GOOD LUCK TO SPAIN i say, i think
i wish ¡
and it is going to happen ¡

Halftime and no goals yet, pretty even game so far, de Jong is lucky not to get a red card as that was a savage studs to chest foul. 5 yellow cards already.
Van Persie continues to dissapoint and Villa is invisible, Puyong looks in form, wondering if Torres will come on second half. -
HOLLAND does not seem to be gentlemen so far
bad suprise -
What? Robben, Van Bommel, De Jong gentlemen? never. effective, yes, gentlemen NO!
