How many are we now?

Better question, of those how many are pretty active in the forum?

How do you define active? Unfortunately there is no way to tell who is lurking and does not log in. we always have many people tell us they come here and lurk for ages before they finally post.
And as another thought, other forums all experience the same thing. So in comparing our number to other forums, it would be unfair to try to drop out our "inactives" because surely other forums have the same type of inactive users.
But of course I love stats, so here is what I found, based on recent login dates.
Today we have had 930 users login
3,800 this month
16,075 this year.These numbers are approximate, within about 10.

Chris, I really wasn't trying to compare to other forums or even hint at something negative, was just curious how viable a resource this forum is for say someone trying to hawk a plugin or rendering solution or any type of SU "accessories" I already know what a great resource it is for SU knowledge.

That doesn't seem like a lot, thought it would be in the 100,000's. How about hits per day, month, and year? Any idea.

That is not total hits, that was unique reigistered users. So being in the 100,00's of thousands is not possible, since we only have (nearly) 40,000. So 16,000 of those 40,000 have logged in this year. Plus that does not account for all the people who choose to hide their login status, and all the people with accounts but who do not take the time to log in.
