I usually use a section plane to do this. I was wondering if there were any plugins that could make it easier.

The problem with zorro, is that it's view based. I would like to pick 3 points to define the plane; then get a preview to show which side will be deleted. You should also be able to select the geometry you want to slice. If no geometry is selected, all active geometry will be cut.

Zorro2 lets you choose the SectionPlane and used in conjunction with SectionCutFace does what you want ?

how about draw your own plane and use intersect selected?
