I don't know of a direct wmf-importer, but there are several free or inexpensive converters that will change a wmf file into something that can be imported directly into SUp - try http://www.gold-software.com/converter.html etc. What is it you want to do exactly ?

Many thanks TIG for your urgent reply.

I am working with wmf files generated from PowerPoint, which I import to SU for further modification. Right now I use CorelDraw to convert wmf files into either DWG or DXF files that can be imported to SU as you know. The problem with that is the imported curves are always in low resolution; therefore I have to redraw them again in SU. I wonder if there is any ruby that helps preserve curves resolution after importing them to SU, or if there is any way to do so while converting wmf files into DWG or DXF format.

Anyhow, thatโ€™s ok for now, hope the developers of SU8 consider adding such function.

Many thanks again, and have a good day.

The (resolution of the) imported curves are a function of SU. One way to change them is to write a ascii search and replace program that will edit a dxf file, and change the curves into polylines with more segments then the SU default.

Hmmm... Maybe this can be done with a plugin. That is to reset the default number of segments in a circle before you import a file. Maybe you can post and ask in "Developers".

I have posted a request for such plug-in in developers forum. Hopefully somebody answer it.
