Thickness or Shell Ruby... Thanks Fredo6
-
I was wondering if it is possible to create a shell or thickness Ruby. I thought it might be based on the existing Scale command, whereby the exterior faces would remain on the original exterior faces, while all interior faces (mesh) would be rescaled ?

jointpushpull will do this
search for it. -

Tomot, So how did you make the model of the image you uploaded, is it flawed? Did joint push-pull work?

xork1: Its an inside joke between me and Frenchy.
Frenchy: Yes Ken Barkke provides the only answer. But Torolf is NOT a specialist, he adds nothing new, except to make something look pretty, and with access to enough software and hardware we can all make anything look pretty.

The interior skin was created with another program, then the entire model was imported to SU.
No, I have not used joint push-pull yet. (I hope joint push-pull is not expecting me to push-pull each face individually in this 3d mesh?) -

joint push-pull......yields no search results....... No suitable matches were found."join push-pull" in the SCF searchbar gets translated to
"+join +push -pull" - everything including "pull" will be ignored. That's why it didn't show up in your search results.
-
i just searched "joint" and found it listed right after this thread.
