How to chamfer/roundover/fillet intersecting corners?
-
I'm using push/pull and able to succeed with one edge. I'd like to chamfer the four edges on the face of the speaker. The push/pull will not finish the corner since it will not push through a curved surface.
I read all the tutorials last night (well obviously i must have missed one since i'm still struggling here). One described a torturous process of erasing, filling, redrawing radii, etc, in order to cope with that remainder where the two push/pull actions intersect. Another couple of posts suggested plug-ins to deal with filleting, but these seemed adapted to assisting in complex curvatures, and never really addressing the simple convergence at one edge like I've got here.I'm able to use the follow-me tool in order to construct the dome and cone of the drivers. But I cannot seem to figure out how the same tool is used in rounding over the corners, if indeed that's the tool to use for straightforward edges like these. It seems the follow-me tool is better intended for curved edges.
What am I missing?
ThanksAlso, how do I get rid of the white 'glimmer' around the dome in the center of the bottom speaker (woofer)? I tried softening lines there, but that actually turns them white.

Have a look at this maybe?
