      Hello everyone,

Out of curiosity, would anyone know where the Auto-saves files are located?

I know that an auto-save file will be in the same folder than the original Skp file, but it does not stay there.

For example, if I set my Auto-save every 10 minutes, I will find one auto-saved file in the folder but it will disappear like a few minutes later.

How can I find the auto-saved file that was saved like 7 minutes ago for example (or 20 minutes, or 30 minutes ago, etc.).

      Thanks!

There's only one AutoSaved file and that is between 0 and NN minutes old depending on the time period you set and when SUp crashes - a normal exit removes the file - then only the SKB file is the last saved version.

I made a tool 'Archiver' that lets you make 'snapshot' archived copies of the model as you go - you'd shortcut key it [off the File menu] and manually save your model at critical stages - if you crash or want to revert to an earlier idea then the archived versions are 'date/time-stamped' and stored in the Archives folder with the model...

Great! Where can I download that Archiver tool?

              Thanks, TIG.

Didier's Ruby Library Depot site at crai has loads of scripts http://www.crai.archi.fr/RubylibraryDepot/Ruby/em_fil_page.htm
                Archiver is on this page...
However you'd probably be quicker getting it here http://forums.sketchucation.com/viewtopic.php?p=149749#p149749
Use the built-in Search tool - it'll return a load of interesting stuff...
