      Version Number
The answer can depend greatly on which of the version you're using. There's been four major editions that changed the behaviour significantly. When experiencing issues always check if your software is up to date!
No point spending hours trying to solve an issue which is due to a bug in an out of date version.

      Be Descriptive
Also, please provide as much info as possible. Pictures help greatly, so does sample models. It can be very hard to just guess what might be the problem. There are so many different factors that could affect a render, as much information as possible will give the best answer.

      Report Bugs to ChaosGroup
When you experience what seem to be a bug, contact ChaosGroup Support to make them aware of the problem, maybe do they even have a solution.

      ChaosGroup V-Ray Forum
The ChaosGroup forum has lots of V-Ray users, make use of it! Even look in the sections that isn't V-Ray for SketchUp. V-Ray is V-Ray the same theory applies to all packages regardless of the host application.

I have Google SketchUp Pro Version 7.1 and Vray for SketchUp 7

I want to ask the following questions about V-Ray for SketchUP

        1. If I make scenes in sketchup having different camera angles. How can I animate the walkthrough in V-Ray for SketchuP? ie. what is the complete procedure to do it??

2)In V-Ray for SketchUp7, on applying any material from the material library, it shows in the V-Ray Materials list. If I want to apply the bump map for it... I have to take a screenshot of the texture... edit it in photoshop , then do the proper aligning using UV mapping options... Is there a better way to do it? Or should I every time create a new vray material ... use a sketchup texture screenshot bitmap ... make its aplpha channnel... then use it?? I'll have to carry them everytime instead of having them embedded inside my model.

when you fail at something....you haven't really failed...you've found one way the thing will not work out

This is not the version number. For instance - the latest is currently 1.48.66

Once you have created your bump map, open the V-Ray material editor. (The M button in the VfSU toolbar)
Select the material you want to add the bump to and look in the bottom section Maps.
Tick the checkbox next to Bump.
Then click on the button to the right of it, saying m
          Choose TexBitmap
Look in the BitmapBuffer section and in the textbox saying File - click on the ... button to its right

Window->Preferences->Extensions->V-Ray for SketchUp, the version number should be listed along with other plugin info below the list of extensions.
