Looks great Steeler. I really dig the one looking down through the clouds. Cool idea. DOF seems a bit heavy on the last couple, but nice work overall. Been really busy I see!!!!

        Simply stunning πŸ‘

The DOF images give the impression of minature models shot with a Macro Lens. I agree with Adam on the aerial images, they're very impressive!

              Adam,

Really nice collection of work here - looks like you have been busy since graduation. How are you liking the working world? Glad to see you foud something local, I hope it is working well for you.

My only feedback on the images would be that I think the illustrative style would benefit from being a little looser and less saturated. Also, like others I think that the cloud view is cool - I just wish it was done on a project with a more interesting roof / site amenities, like the Mobili samples.

Good to see some of your work again!

Really nice work. My only few crits would be to back off so much motion blur of the figures. It gives the impression everyone is either running in or out of a building, which may not be the impression you want to portray. The first image is nice but the dark figures would present better with a bit of shadow to ground them. I understand they are not photoreal or even photo images but when everything else has shadows and they do not they look to float. Other than that great work.

                    adam,

great work indeed. my only point would be about the skies you use. i find them too dominant and thus too distracting, considering the buildings should be the center of attention.

Thank you all for the feedback. All great points that will help make me a better artist and hopefully benefit others that see the thread.

Dean: Im really liking the working world. Its scary at times when projects dont seem to be coming in, but our firm seems to keep a decent balance. But I am glad you mentioned something about the image saturation; that is something I have been worrying about, because it is a struggle for me at times to pull back with things like that. I probably need to tone things down a bit. I hope my monitor is reading properly...Anyways, I hope things are going well for you as well.

The motion blur is another thing...I am so glad to feedback on that, because thats another example of something I thought needed to be toned down and hearing that helps make that more apparent.

I am also glad to hear people keep mentioning the skies, because i agree that they are too distracting and I, as well as many others, might benefit from some good sky resources. I get most of them from cgtextures or 1000skies and I think my library is running really thin, because most of theirs are pretty busy looking. Anyone have any good resources for free or paid ones? Also does anyone have good suggestions for sky gradients...I try doing it in photoshop, but they always seem to be lacking and I end going back to using some of these more busy skies.

But thanks again for all the great feedback guys, if you have any questions...please dont hesitate to ask.
