Save changes?

For some reason, SU has suddenly decided to start being really irritating and ask me do I want to save changes to files that I haven't edited in any way...even blank new ones that I open then decide not to use. I was just wondering if anyone else had come across this; and if they'd found a solution...maybe some clashing Ruby or rendering loaders, whatever?

Sounds like a ruby adding a material or something when you load SU up, dont know which one it could be though.

i had a similar problem and eventually found it was chris' loft tool.. he was able to fix it very quickly .. see:

I just started having this problem a couple weeks ago, been so busy I just accepted it. Thanks for making me look into. Skindigo update 2.2.9 is the problem on my Mac. Luckily, I had only downloaded a couple plugins this month so was easy to catch.

Thanks all. Yeah! I'm pretty sure it's an add-on. I just haven't tracked down which one yet.

I'm getting the same behavior. In my case a point-light component being inserted in the component browser (not the model) whenever I start a new model - so I think it's Podium Beta 2 that is inserting it.

Yes, in fact it is in ALL my templates, so I don't think it's really in ANY of my templates.
ANd now that I have un-installed Podium Beta 2, it is gone.
