A form embedded to a round part
-
I'm new to sketchup.
I'm trying to do something that loook like the head of a screw.
The problem I have is to do the part that is embedded to the round part of the head.
Somebody can help me ? -
Use "intersect with model". Basically make a shape that looks like the part you want to erase, then move it into place, then select, right click, "intersect with model". This creates faces and you can erase the unwanted geometry.

Your visual was anything but crude, Jeff. How did you do it?
Also, check a screw head. Your screw just ruined my best #1 Phillips. (But don't worry. It was a SketchUp screwdriver. I'll model another one.)
