hi guys! im having problems with the follow me tool. I always end up with

i just need some pointers, why do these things happen? -
the pieces that you're extruding are longer than the radius you're trying to bend them around.. there's going to be some overlap by trying that..

You just need one or two more steps....after using follow-me like you did, then select all > intersect with model(if necessary) > and erase the unwanted geometry. Then use eraser + shift or control to clean up the lines on the surface.
