too bad you can only position spherical skies... if you image is NOT a spherical sky, its very difficult to not say impossible to use it.

I found this while looking for a sky to go in my first render.

If you don't have a 360 environment bitmap then add the sky in post - Photoshop or similar. That's what I most often do.
