      Hi!

I'm trying to model a small town in sketchup. I'm using the sandbox tool to create the terrain from contours positioned at the correct elevation. What I can't figure out is how to do the roads! How do I draw them? They have to slope with the terrain, but how do I draw on such a surface when it's interpolated from the contours? I would like to be able to attach a different material to the roads and I need them sloping exactly as the terrain does, I basically need to be able to draw on my terrain... any ideas on how to achieve this? Different methods you have used in the past?

      Many thanks!

If you already have the roads drawn in cad you can import them and drape them onto the terrain surface.
