      I may be wrong but there seems to be some geometry differences between the 2 raw images; in the bottom there is a white cylinder at the rear end of the ridge and a concrete chimney at the front end, yet they dont appear in the top image, or have I misread the building?

      The final images have been updated once since the original post.

      @unknownuser said:

      yes i generally use the same settings, and the raw and finals are back to front, the top final image is the bottom raw image, sorry about that initially i had liked the back view more so i arranged them like i did with the raw images, but then after updating the front view i placed it on top and didnt do so with the raw renders... still the same renders none the less πŸ˜„

      I think you both misunderstand me...
      I'm refering to what I see on the roof in one image and not in the other whether it be RAW renders or the photoshopped images on the front page.

      I think they are obviously two different buidlings - as mentioned he has a few to do!

          i think your gonna need to draw us a diagram or something cos i didnt alter any structure via photoshop and those are the raw renders for the ones on the first post (plaster wall inset on the back stone wall is the only difference).

          Richard
          these are the only bushveld type renders for the series, the rest are generally tuscan 🀒 and contemporary, i'll do a mega post once their done, there are 25 houses of them with 2 renders each (but i dont like a lot of em so it might not be that much)

            I was assuming it was a front and rear shot of the same building. If its 2 different ones then that explains why I was seeing something different as they are so similar in style.

              those are the same renders, same front and rear, same angles, same building

              i think i understand ur problem, the Lodge has 2 roofs in an L shape, the views dont show both, the client specified view angles

                This is absolutely amazing stuff! I love that it's not all done in SU, but that Photoshop was used. This is a great time saver as far as rendering times go. But i always wonder how much time goes into the post-renders in ps- that must be very time consuming. I'd be interested in how long that takes you.

                  the model took 3 days cos i was faffing with textures, and the Photoshopping for both took another day, maybe less coss i finished the first one the same evening i finished rendering, then finished the second render the following morning, it really is quick.

                      amazed. If I wasn't told that it was a render I'd probably think it was a photo. transition between photo and render is seamless.....really well done, inspiring stuff, hopefully my renders will be like that one day!!

                        I like your work because it is a super combination of a 3D model rendering (and rendering it necessary) and work in photoshop, it's more than just a render, is a work of composition, congratulations!!!

                        sorry my inglishhhhh

                            i really hope you have a chance to share your methods....would be great. like rcossoli said, this is that digital art is all about... mixing methods and media to create a beautiful cohesive image. its even greater when you see the state of the raw render.

                            great stuff... def some of the best we've seen on here..
