i'm having problem with "Check Plugins for Update"
attached screen info
any idea how to solve it?

If it is Safari 5.0.6, then bad luck, there is a big issue (which is under resolution, see that thread)Thanks to confirm. Also, do you see the images in the dialog box (I mean the small + and - at the top of the table, on left)?

Safari is Version 5.1 (7534.48.3)
You are right images not showing correctly.

NEW RELEASE: LibFredo6 v4.1a - 11 Sep 11
LibFredo6 4.1 is a technical release which normally fixes some issues for recent version of Mac OS and Safari 5.0.6 and above (images not displayed and check for update not working).

Then there is another difference between 5.0.6 and 5.1.
In the Check of update can you check or uncheck the checkbox "Show only plugins installed locally". This refresh the web dialog box. Can you then see the images.Thanks

Alternatively, click on one of the colored filtering cross box. This should refresh the dialog box.
Also, can you then try with this patch
to drop into LIBFREDO6_Dir_41 folderThanks very much

Iv down loaded the plugin and put it the directory stated above but nothing shows up when i start up sketchup? im using a mac and have followed all the steps but still nothing... any help please

Do you have a menu Windows > LibFredo6 settings....?

NEW RELEASE: LibFredo6 v4.2a - 16 Sep 11
LibFredo6 4.2 should fix some issues for recent versions of Mac OS and Safari 5.0.6 and above (images not displayed and check-for-update not working). LibFredo6 4.1 was not fully solving the problem.

Everything now works on Safari 5.0.6.
thanks for all your great plugins and pursuance of cross platform performance.
if I had the money, I'd buy you a mac as a well deserved reward...

The solution is to use
set_filewith a temporary HTML file in the Temp directory. Simply, I had inadvertedly left a piece of code which was still doing aset_htmlunder certain conditions, and set_file did not supersede the set_html (strangely, even if the HTML was taken from the temp file, the web dialog was created with the window.location = about:blank -- only a refresh of the page would make it right).Fredo

I'm trying to install this on a mac. Not clear on how to extract the files into SUplugins.I unzipped the file on the desktop and can select all the files but unsure what to do next.

The unzip operation should lead to a simple footprint in the SU plugins directory
- a file: libFredo6.rb
- a folder: LIBFREDO6_Dir_42
Possibly do the extract in a neutral place, and then copy the file and folder to the SU Plugins directory.
