            ok, here it goes:

The Dynamic Components are a big thing. It's a really big great feature. I work in an architectural office and I find myself modelling more or less the same elements, with minor variation. Now I can make this into DCs and set up the rules for how it behaves and transforms, saving a great amount of time in the end.

Ruby's can run faster on SU7. See http://sketchupapi.blogspot.com/2008/11/whats-new-in-sketchup-7.html

2D exports are faster and can be larger.

Intersecting lines when you draw shapes that overlap is also a really nice feature which makes the workflow smoother.

And it generally feels more stable.

While there has been introduced a couple of new bugs, many has been fixed. (No more SU sun being displayed incorrectly when you open a model.)
The most annoying with SU7 IMO is that the Paint Bucket tool has a tendency to forget the custom UV mapping you sampled with the dropper. I hope that get fixed soon as I keep having to re-sample the texture.

one reason that alone would make me buy it (well, I already bought it) is, that in SU7 when you change the coordinate axes and then build new groups and components, their bounding boxes are aligned to the new coordinate axes and therefore scale in that direction as well...

One thing I am wondering (I'm still in SU 6 Pro) is if there has been any file conversion problems between SU 6 and SU 7. I have two quite large projects on the go, and really can't afford any problems. Has anyone had difficulties?

No upgrading problems. I sit with some large files myself. But if you are worried make a backup just in case.

Also, even if ou upgrade, you can go on with your old projects in SU 6 to make sure there is no problem.
