Hey. I made my own display case and need to add lights inside to illuminate the objects. How do I go about doing this?

You will need to import into a rendering prog. Check these out. Podium or Kerkythea.

how do you import a 3D drawing from SketchUp to Kerkythea? It doesnt seem to be the correct file type.

The easiest way to do it is with the kerkythea exporter: http://www.crai.archi.fr/RubyLibraryDepot/Ruby/EM/SU2KT3_0.exe

It also does other useful things like let you set up your lighting in SU. Have a look at the getting started guide on the kerky site for a step by step guide.

The Kerky plugin will save it as an xml. file and ask if you want to export directly to Kerky.

Don't forget that there is also Indigo and PovRAY, both for rendering light and rendering in general.
