Anyone else experienced that SU7 tend to give incorrect proportions to textured materials when you create one?
I find myself often correcting the proportions, something I don't recall doing in SU6.

I was finding something odd with unique textures and posted in Bug Reports.http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=14485
I don't know if its related, no body has confirmed if they are having same problem or if its problem, I suppose it only me.๐Ÿ˜ž . I'll try it gain later now I have my glasses, see if I get same result.

Well, I have noticed that Make Unique texture has created a texture that's rotated at a slight angle on a white background. Even though the face was square and parallel with the global axis.

Thanks - I was beginning to wonder. ๐Ÿ‘

I tried importing the same brick texture into 6 and 7 with same sized squares, but created separately in each version and got the following result below or am I missing something when importing โ— Is this what your getting โ“

Well, my guess is that because number 7 is bigger than number 6, the textures are also bigger. Imagine when we reach SU 47 for instance! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Plus, as we know, the Globe is slightly growing (being "inflated") so I just look at this change from SU 6 to SU 7 as a natural (and quite witty) attempt from Google's side to keep up with the global changes (as we know they are very good at global awarenes anyway).

And I suppose the slightly rotated issue in the unique textures to compensate for the the wobbling of the earth as we rotate ๐Ÿคฃ They seem to thing of everything.

Exactly. And when it reaches 360 degrees, a new phoenix will arise from the flames. ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

I'm guessing that the change is so textures are imported more closely to real size. Most of the times when I imported textures in SU6 they where much too small. ..but that's just pure guesswork... But in your examples the textures at least appear to be proportional.
