That's priceless....a 69 year old granny using a laptop from her hospital bed. 😄

On the next line it uses the US "gotten" instead of the English "got", followed by a whole string of other Americanisms like "wrote me".

I don't think there's a single line in the whole article that rings true.

I just read somewhere that spamming is so inexpensive that the spammers still make a nice profit even if they get one click from 2.4 million postings. That's what keeps them doing it.

                  *Dear Paypal member,

been reported as lost or stolen, or that there were additional
                  problems with your card.

For your protection, we have limited access to your account until
additional security measures can be completed. We apologize for any
                  inconvenience this may cause.

We thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Please understand
that this is a security measure intended to help protect you and your
account. We apologize for any inconvenience.

I think I’ll apologize to them in return. Let them know that all my money was with Icesave.

PyPal's reommendation for these cases ia to forward such an email to spoof(at)paypal(dot)com.
They will investigate and end you feedback if it was really a spoof email.

Also, their policy is to NEVER ASK FOR SUCH DETAILS IN EMAIL.

Ignore anything that says it's from Paypal that doesn't address you by name.

Edit: I didn't actually mean ignore, I meant don't act on it and send them any info. You should do as Gaieus says and forward it to PP. I've done this several times and they have always got back to me confirming it's a fake and have taken action agaimst the fraudsters.
