Using HDRI in Vray for sketchup........plz help...

can anyone please tell me how to use HDRIs when rendering a sketchup model in vray.....for instance, where do u insert the hdri, in the GI or the background??...and why do i get a black screen in the frame buffer when i do so?....and how do i control the size, distance and angle of the hdri???
...........somebody please help......
