Religion anyone?

Humans are relative, true...and humans invented a good part of the Bible. Some might be the word of God, but most of it is ancient myth and Jewish propaganda.
For instance...according to Genesis:
God created light and dark on the first day...but didn't create the sun, moon and stars until the fourth day. How does that work then?....and I don't want to hear any nonesense like "God can do anything." That's just ducking the issue. If God created this universe he created the laws of physics that govern it.He created the waters before he created any land....what from?
I believe that even Creationists would have to agree that all life ultimately derives from the sun and the energy it bestows on us daily...so how come the earth was vegetated a day before the sun was created?
Creationists keep repeating the lie that there is no evidence for Evolution...like if they say it often enough it will miraculously become true. The fact is that every museum and research lab on earth is full of incontravertible evidence for Evolution. Even The Pope and the Archbishop of Canterbury have no problem reconciling the two...just idiot fundamentalists.
I find it very hard to believe that every single person in Sodom and Gomorrah, other than Lot, was a sinner; even the new-born and those honest, simple people just trying to get on with life? What kind of God would destroy them all for being little more than lewd and licentious in the eyes of others? And what kind of God would then not detroy societies that have practiced far worse things? They weren't exactly ripping out people's beating hearts before kicking them down temple steps, were they?
S & G were destroyed by natural catastrophy....and Jewish propagandists of the time attributed it to God...exactly like the self-righteous idiots in this clip.
Youtube VideoTHIS is the way "The Word of God" starts out.

While are we on the subject we have here something called Jesus Army which prays on volotile and young people , make them signed up and take their all values including a paycheck. In return they get lodging while the bosses live in pretty nice big stately homes. Oh Yes I forgot they get unifrom and get to sing every now and then in town... Recently they make a big fuss in town demanding that Charles Darwin to be covered in the Museum.... I do not have problem with people believing in anything they want, but when they start pushing me in corner and paddling their stuff than I have to react.... We also have number of young American in the Amish like outfitts walking door to door bashing with their holly books.... Please keep those in your BB we relly do not want them here.

Sepo,
per your request
Two examples from Mattew 27:“Then was fulfilled that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet, saying: “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was priced, whom certain of the children of Israel did price”” (v.9)
“And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet: “They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.”” (v.35)
In The Bible, there are more than 330 such detailed propheties about only one Person. Can you CALCULATE what is THAT PROBABILITY?!!!

I am sorry but I do not see any relevance....Did you know that Nzis were predicting to kill all Jews.... Ok they did not succeed albeit killing many many millions... Do we take it as prophecy because they partially suceeded and does that make you know who prophet.
I was trying to make sense from your previous post and it did not make any sense to me. Take me as not so bright and please give me an example of the relevance of these in todays world. Decode them for me. Think of me as someone who neede to be converted. -
You finally said something revealing Cornel:
@unknownuser said:
Go on the street, (for example in Ney York, Chicago, etc.) and you will find (if you have ‘imagination’) a lot of faces and bodies that can be combined
"Imagination" thats all your beliefs really are, truth is based on facts.
-
Alan,
In originals, the same word used for “DAY”, means “PERIOD”
God is atemporal:
“But forget not this one thing, beloved, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” (2 Peter 3:8)The Bible was written by humans, but it was inspired (some portions even were dictated) by God.
Re. Evolution museums: Go on the street, (for example in Ney York, Chicago, etc.) and you will find (if you have ‘imagination’) a lot of faces and bodies that can be 'combined' in a 'slide-presentation'…!

Solo,
I was referring to an ILL IMAGINATION, starting from the wrong used ideea that everything can be plausible, except God’s creations.Cornel

You are kidding right?
You believe in the whole Noah story right? a 900 year old man collects two of every animal and stores it on his boat and weathers out a flood right?
Now if indeed you do, did he have dinosaurs onboard? maybe a pair of Dodo's? probably not as they are extinct and according to your beliefs they never existed even though we have bones to prove it.
-
Cornel
If indeed you are as tolerant as I believe you are please watch the following clip (all of it) and give me your opinion, not another quote from your bible, one from your thinking. I have taken the time to learn your faith and come to a conclusion that I do not believe, so please do me the favor and watch this and give me an honest opinion.

Solo,
Noah was yunger: 600 y. instead of 900 y. (see Gen. 7:6).Re. dimensions of the ark:
“And this is the fashion which thou shalt make it of: The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.” (Gen. 6:15)
As you can see, its proportions were ideal established, like ultra-modern safe vessels.Calculating its volume you will be surprised that it was a roomy ‘invention’, large enough for all basic pairs of young animal kingdom, “all in whose nostrils was the breath of life”. Because of that space, some animals were allowed to be seven pairs, not just one… (see Gen. 7:2-3)

Cornel,
I am afraid you may need to read your book again concerning Noah's age, check Gen 9:28 and 9:29, he was 600 at time of flood and lived another 350 years afterwards.
So what did you think of video on previous page, I am really interested in your opinion or anyone else of devout faith.

Modelhead,
It's well known that it was THE CONCLUSION of many specialised competent engineers...Cornel

Of course God exists outside of time. He has to...there wasn't any such thing as time prior to the creation of the universe, it's a function of mass, space and the speed of light.
But we're not talking about God; we're talking about the creation of a very physical and tangible earth. That earth had to be formed according to a timescale...and the one in the Bible makes no sense at all.
As for Noah. Here's the Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh, written centuries before the rise of the Hebrews. http://www.ancienttexts.org/library/mesopotamian/gilgamesh/tab11.htm
It's all in there, albeit with a few changes of name and detail...the flood, the boat, the chosen few and their livestock, the grounding on the mountain...even the dove sent out on a recon mission.
The plain fact is that flood myths abound all over the Middle East...and beyond. We are talking Early Bronze Age here. Precisely the time when the sea levels were rising after the last Ice Age and some areas of very fertile land then below sea level, now under the sea were inundated catastrophically when the higher ground separating them from the sea finally gave way (like the Bosphorus). The result was the flooding of basins that are now the Black and Red Seas.
-
Solo,
Those were your words:
“You believe in the whole Noah story right? a 900 year old man collects two of every animal and stores it on his boat and weathers out a flood right?"…mentioning GREAT FLOOD TIME.
Noah was 600 y. old in that time.

Acceptable, you are correct on that, I concur on age at time of storm. Thats one pretty old dude nonetheless huh?
Anyway, back to your opinion on video clip....
-
Alan,
I know those hypothesis and many…, and many…
I’m not at a ‘starting point’! I did study ‘libraries’…, about suppositions, theories, etc.Yor are right, the Earth was formed “according to a timescale”, but correct periods are those exposed in the Bible (Genesis).
I’m not so religious to believe every ideea, even it is written in ‘uppercase’ or trumpeted in the name of Science.Cornel
-
Solo,
That video-clip didn’t start. It looks like a square white spot, but without a link…!
Can you give me the path of it?Sorry for this inconvenient!

This is some seriously warped rhetorics. You're not religous enough to believe every idea that's 'trumpeted' in the name of science. What does that mean?

Sure thing.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EQLD59fK_Iw

Stinkie,
To believefor example in those millions y. or billions y., you have to have a HUGE FAITH.
Can you verify them? Which Laboratory will take that responsibility?!
Besides that, almost all theories were continuously changeable…!Do you know a verse like Luke 19:40?:
“And he (Jesus) answered and said, I tell you that, if these shall hold their peace, the stones will cry out.”
“Stones” (the Archeology, for example) are more eloquent than ‘words’!Cornel
