Dimension tools

Hi !
It would be nice to develop dimension tools in SU !- Continue dimension tool
- Diameter and radius dimensions
- Dimension text position (to move text where you want)
- Different dimension styles
- Etc...
No ruby masters can develop these scripts without recreating the initial dimension script... Quite difficult !! The dimension entities are inaccessible via ruby...

Hi Matt,
From your recent posts I see that you wish to develop SU via ruby and concentrate your wishes around this but in this particular post you opnly mention it at the end. Anyway, what I want to say is that radius and diameter dimensions already exist in SU.
Sure angular dimension does not (natively) and there could be a lot to develop / enhance in this field.

But it is my opinion!

sorry, I forgot the NOT

Being able to move the dimension text would be helpful; I've been doing some work in Layout and it can be a time-wasting pain to get the blasted text in a visible place.
Better yet - for my current purposes - would be for the dimensioning to be done in Layout and not in the raw model. I
