The feature you use least

...but should probably use more.
For me it would have to be the outliner. I just started using when i was making the posable robot arm and its so damm useful, should have tried it before!

The "Close SU" feature.
Well, I know I dont' use components as well as I could. But it rarely comes back to haunt me. But once in a while it does. I should use them more I think.

styles
Oh wait, you said we should choose something we should use more.
never mind.

but indeed styles can come in very handy wen tracing errors - if you for example switch on endpoints and set them between 3-5, you can find roughe lines easily.
or if you look for flaws in complicated surfaces (terrains for example), it even makes sense sometimes to use profiles (I know, they look horrible - but for this purpose...)
so your suggestion to use styles may be a good idea

I would have to say Rubies in general, although I do use the one for locating the centerpoint of an arc/circle frequently.

i agree with remus, i never use the outliner, though it sounds like an useful tool.

outliner for me too...
are we all using it wrong???

Im not sure why people dont use the outliner more, all i can say is try it out, it makes it really easy to manipulate groups and components and can really help to organise your models. It also gets you in to the habit of naming all your groups, which cant be a bad thing.

Shortcuts. They can really speed things up but I prefer to use icons and menus through force of habit and laziness to learn the shortcuts.
I do use the outliner however. It's great for selecting/hiding/unhiding individual components particularly in larger models where there are lots of components. I also use it in conjunction with entity information where you can then find out the details of each such as the amount. That's useful for example if I've got a target number of houses to meet on a site etc. One tip though, is not to leave the outliner open all the time, as it slows larger models down considerably.

ok, I leave the outliner open all the time (my models are not too big though). it simply helps me to keep an overview over the model. I do a lot of grouping and ungrouping during my modeling work, quite often these group-structures are nested very deeply (5th-10th level). the outliner helps me to spot unnecessary grouping in an instant.
I never use it to manipulate or select entities though - something I should start doing.

When doing big calculations in SU (like using the Comp Spray Tool) never leave the Outliner open because it may slow SU down considerably for it tries to update itself all the time.
Other than this, it is really handy and sure I should use it more often (just like shortcuts).
