Automatic Page Numbering

It would be great if Layout could automatically number pages.

Actually I was baffled to find that it can't do this. A serious flaw, IMHO- I can not submit professional work without page numbering.

I would also add that a function to include OR exclude the first (cover) page into/from the numbering would also be welcome.

You can do page numbers perfectly easily - just not automatically generated. Annoying, but not impossible to cope with.

Add another vote to automatic page numbering - essential. Ideally would be a field that could be put anywhere on the page and prefixed by user-defined text (for example, I often use 'Sheets' rather than pages)!

When we are at it, I would also like the option NOT to start page numbering on Page 1 as that is often the cover page and we for instance never number the cover but numbering starts later.
(Of course I can always create a separate document for the cover but why workarounds all the time?)
