I found a video that explains a little what I want to say: http://www.mv.com/ipusers/hammond/turbosquid/spacingTool/spacingTool.htm

          "PathCopy v.2.1
          by Rick Wilson

description Copy groups or components along a path, at set spacing or node spacing
usage Select "Copy Along Path" from the Plugins menu, select a path, then select a group or component to copy.
Copy to Path Nodes will make a copy of the selected group or component, placing the copies at the vertices of the selected path.
Copy to Spacing will make a copy at set intervals along the path. You may specify a distance in the VCB.
The zip file contains pathCopy.rb, vector.flat_angle.rb, and Icons/pathcopy.png"

          But:

          Known issues
When using the "path nodes" option, items will NOT BE ROTATED 😢 as they are copied. There is a fix planned for this.

glad you found it - the fix has been in planning for quite some time so i wouldn't expect too eagerly : (

the plugin is great but it would be greater to have more options to copy along paths - some kind of superarray tool 😛

Yeah, I'm a bit slow lately. 8-month-old baby + overtime at day job = not much ruby time 😞
It will get done eventually... 😄
