"PathCopy v.2.1
by Rick Wilsondescription Copy groups or components along a path, at set spacing or node spacing
usage Select "Copy Along Path" from the Plugins menu, select a path, then select a group or component to copy.
Copy to Path Nodes will make a copy of the selected group or component, placing the copies at the vertices of the selected path.
Copy to Spacing will make a copy at set intervals along the path. You may specify a distance in the VCB.
The zip file contains pathCopy.rb, vector.flat_angle.rb, and Icons/pathcopy.png"But:
Known issues

the plugin is great but it would be greater to have more options to copy along paths - some kind of superarray tool

tangents on the curved paths... definitely it will be very useful.
