Another bathroom...
-
Hi All,
I'm sure some of you remember the renders I posted in the Designed in SU...?!?
Well - here's a couple of the bathroom...I got the art on the wall from 3D Warehouse...
Render time was app. 17 minutes per image...
-
great KT rendering sir Fredrik!
can you share your settings for interior?
-
Thanks, stanmarsh..
There's really nothing special in the settings...
I used the standard no. 6 preset... No tweaking and no post pro done in these...
After the export from SU I spend less than 10 minutes to set-up materials and lights and then I just clicked the render button...
I liked the result and wanted to share it here, since I normally can't share my renders due to the agreement I have with the architect...I'm currently cooking the same scene using preset no. 20 (MLT (BPT) ) just to see how the caustics in the water spash will turn out...

wow, thats pretty good! and seems very easy to do!
btw, how did you model the water with splashes?

+1.
Looks like Realflow is it?
Tut?Some burnt areas, but otherwise, very good looking images.
-
Your a god man!
I can only dream of such renders! -

Tut?Tut...
The plant on the table and the water splash are the only things I imported to SU...
You can obtain the water splash model from Turbo Squid...@kwistenbiebel said:

I can only dream of such renders! Thanks, but you can actually achieve equally good renders yourself quite easily...
It's really not that difficult and I'll be happy to show you how easy it's done... -
looks good!
but did you spend 30$ for the water?? -

Yes - of course... I can use it for many other models...
-
great work, kim. the trees and the water are particularly good. it is great to be able to see your output.
-
very good work, i realy like the water great!!
-
Nice images mate but dam they are bright, seems the excess light is flashing some of the white srfaces.
-
Thanks, Richard...
What you can't see in the images is that just outside the bathroom, users will find a rack containing various sunglasses...
So, apart from being able to do whatever you need to in the bathroom, you can do it and at the same time look incredible cool and hip...OK... Seriously speaking... Like I mentioned earlier, I haven't done any post pro on the images... Could easily adjust to tone mapping...
I will remember to adjust it When I post the MLT render...@rcossoli - Thanks... Much appreciated..!!
BTW - I forgot to mention that the 17 minutes render time was done on a single core...
-
just saw this ... great renders my friend
-
Very nice, am "Green" with envy:-)
-
Woah... This post was brought back to life from a long sleep...
But thanks anyway guys...
