There is no "indigo.exe" in any of the directories I have after unzipping the SKindigo.zip file.

I also have the SUpreviews.zip which does not have an .exe file.

I downloaded the files from the Indigo site.

Maybe I just need to stick with KT.

The SkIndigo you refer to is just the ruby plug-in enabling you to export your model from SU... πŸ˜‰

Apart from that you also need the application itself, and you can download it here... πŸ˜‰

When I downloaded indigo (not skindigo - I know the difference) and tried to install it, I got an error message that "it is not a Win 32 application" so I simply could not install it. Anyone any idea what's happening? Maybe a corrupt download? (Also, it took forever to unzip the program,

Did you download the 64 bit version by accident perhaps gai? probably worth trying to re-download.

And you shouldnt have to install it. It just runs straight from the .exe file, no installation needed.

Well, first of all (before downloading), I looked around a bit and I read that there is only a 32 bit version at the moment (I might be wrong though). Then I guess I made sure to download the good version but who knows? πŸ˜‰

Yeah, I guess I'll download it again just in case. I just don't really have time on week days so it will be at the week-end.

Another "problem": I registered at the Indigo Forums but have never received my confirmation email. πŸ˜’

              Sigh... I know I'm a troublesome person... πŸ˜›

                    Frederik,

Thanks for the link. I'll download the Indigo file and see how it works.

Always download the latest stable release of Indigo and SkIndigo from the 'Main Downloads Page' on the Indigo website.

There are 64bit builds available so make sure you don't donwload them if you are not using a 64bit OS.

I think the website could be better organized to avoid this confusion. Downloading the wrong version is a common problem...

                          Thanks for all the help.

                          I downloaded the correct file.

I then put all the extracted files into the SU/Plugins directory. When I opened SU I located Indigo.exe and now everything works fine.

Now all I have to do is learn how to use the program.

                              Hi All.
Rogerra the unzipped file is the indigo folder. When you copy this into the plugins folder it becomes the folder indigo_v1.0.9_3 (at least that's the version i have). This is the folder to place the previews file.
                              Hope this helps

I have done all the steps to install Indigo but when I open SU and it asks for the exe file (which I am able to locate)...once I do this I get an error saying "permission denied"

Which OS are you on harry? IF its vista, try running sketchup as an administrator (right click the SU icon->run as admin)
