Push pull selected
-
Does there exist a script that can push/pull several selected faces ?
I often have to push/pull more faces to the same hight. Now I have to do it on every single face.
Can this be done by a script ?
Thanks

if you push/pull a face and then double click on another one, it will be push/pulled with the same height

There are a lot of ruby scripts that do what you want.
But I recommend Joint Push Pull by Fredo6:
http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=153&t=6708It has 3 types of push/pull... I think that you want to use in this case the normal push/pull. You select all the faces you want and then push/pull all together.

Wow, thanks. I have, and use Joint Push Pull by Fredo6, but did not know that was possible.
Thanks, you saved my day
Now, i just need the same feature in Door_lintel by Didier

If every face is moving in the same direction and by the same amount then you could also mark each face and use the move tool.

Hmm, don't get it. If a have several flat faces, how do you then use the move tool to push / pull ?
-
You select each face, choose move, pick a point (a corner for example) and pull upwards on the blue axis.
It will just pull all the shapes up like push/pull. -
yes, but only if you already have extruded faces..
Didier's projections also does that - it also extrudes by random heights..

True - you cannot do this with 2D geometry.
