Is not more "at the egal distance from the external commune vertex"?
Now it is 45°(or 135°) to the starting edge so not perpendicular!

Thanks for a new trick Coen
with the rotation tool, pick the centre of rotation and then control the axis of rotation by holding down lmb and sliding in the required direction. Great! I've always rotated the model to get a different axis, which can be annoying.

Hey Coen Nice tutorial mate but can't you get the same result using fillet ...... just highlight your rectangle and click on fillet and type in your radius.............

Yeah just looked at the date of the tutorial it's been a while, just shows how much easier SketchUp is when you throw in a
few good rubys.............

It's not always about being able to do it easier with rubies. You should actually learn to do these things by hand, with native SU tools so that you model safely and with self confidence. Then can the rubies come to speed up your workflow...

Hey Coen,

I was reflecting myself on a way to make this simple figure (rounded rectangle) easy to do in SU, and i am fallen up on your tut

Using the Rotate Tool along the proper axis to reverse the first two corners, was what i was still missing.

Here is, using your way, a little more quick solution:

PS to Gaieus: no use here of any ruby
