works here now too.
thank you -
hey fredo
i've come across an instance where v1.6 is freezing sketchup and 1.5 handles it just fine.. i'm not sure if the problem is in something i'm doing wrong, something mac specific, or what.
i'll attach the .skp (v8).. the two faces i'm having problems with are the ones painted orange.
thanks[edit -- removed file]
[and maybe someone else can try this with jpp v1.6 on windows (or mac to see if it's repeatable for them as well)]
-
thank you very much

Indeed, I have just had to update JPP as I had freezing with a model. Many-manythanks, Fredo, for this excellent tool and the constant upgrades!

The
JPP_Dir_17
folder is required? -

The
JPP_Dir_17
folder is required?I think not - as it contains nothing that's not already in the new 18 version ??
V18 works OK for me without v17... -
I got confused because the zip file contained the 1.7 files as well as the 1.8...

Tom,
Are you sure? Which unzip program do you use?
It is true that I took a copy of the 1.7 zip file, emptied it, and then insert the 1.8 files. With Winzip, there is no problem. But it may not be true with other unzip utilities.

it's empty, but in there on the mac as well, Stuffit Expander...

I use 7-zip and there is an empty JPP_Dir_17 folder once unzipped.
Oh and Fredo. -
I just used Windows to open the file. I don't use third party applications for zip files. No need.

Here's a screenshot of the current archive which I just opened in AlZip - the v1.7 folder IS still there... It also contains no files...
