I sound like a friggin salesman for Right Hemisphere, however Deep Exploration does an amazing job of converting any format from SU to DWG into 3d PDF.
attached is a Viper saved as pdf.

Well... Maybe you can talk with them and ask if you can get some provision..??@solo said:

I've been using the 30 day trial, and was amazed..!
But I didn't know that Deep Exploration was capable of generating 3D pdf-documents... Very useful info..!!
I think I might purchase a licence very soonยด... Also now where the USD is very low...
I'll remember to mention your name, Pete... Maybe it will mean that I can get a discount... -
So has anyone tried this one?

They claim it to be free!

kiitos..!!
Thanks for the heads up, Anssi...
I've always focused on Deep Exploration and haven't seen any other of their applications...
This looks GREAT..!! -
I just saw the specs, and of course there is a catch:
It requires Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0 or Acrobat 3D to export 3D PDFs.
My acrobat is v. 5.0 so I would have to upgrade that.
Pete, does the DE package have itself all that is required for 3D PDF output, or is it too dependent on the presence of the Adobe product? The DE output looked good, it seems to do better smoothing than the RPS one

But I already have Adobe Creative Suite 3, Design Premium...
-
The best part of Deep Publisher is, that I can use skp-files directly...
I thought I had to export to 3DS, but it open skp-files directly..!!

Roger,all
I have experimented with Acrobat 3D 30 Day Trials each time a new version comes out.
The latest Version 8 seems to be the best yet.
While far from an expert with A3D(see attached)I will say if you combine A3D with Free DE Deep Publish (Thanks Anssi, going to play with this later) you could have a winning combination.Side note: Make sure Adobe Reader 3D preferences allow for double sided rendering.
Best,
Charlie
