      Hello all!

Any ideas on how to do radial and circular texturing?
Please see attached image - a tiling pattern, going in a circular fashion along the circumference and radially towards the center.
I would appreciate if I can get some ideas for circular texturing.
Radial - I think I have little idea but open to suggestions as well...πŸ˜„

      Thanks!

      ~e

Not sure exactly what you are asking but one way to create a texture similar to what was posted would be to use a component. Create a pie shaped component and add the desired texture. Rotate the texture as to match your photo. Then ctrl+rotate it to copy it around a single point. If you wanted it as one texture you would have to export the image of this model as 2D and then reimport as texture.

Done as Sketchy says above but the center bit doesn't radiate in the same way so that is done as a separate piece.

BTW, I found an apparent bug when I was doing this. When you edit one of the pie shaped components, you won't be able to see the texture on it. You should be able to. If you also edit the material and turn the opacity slider down, you will be able to see the textrue while in edit mode in the component. Turning the opacity back up all the way will make it disappear again but when you are outside the component you can see it again. This was broken once before and it was fixed. Something new seems to have interfered with it.

Hey Tom. You broke the rules. If you use more than one, it has to be a component. Even if the texture won't show when you edit the component. Rules are rules.
