      Hi ☀ ,
I'm a user of Sketchup Pro, and I'm about to upgrade to V6.4.112 ...
I was just curious, how do you upgrade yourself from versions to versions ?
Do you simply uninstall the old version before installing the new one ?
Do you simply run the new install exe and then all is fine ?

For any other software, I usually uninstall the old version then install the new one, saving before any setting/parameters files (to avoid having to re-configure the software one more time) ... but with Sketchup, I can't find any setting files anywhere ...
Where are stored our settings exactly ?

      Thanks !

You can install this version right over your existing version with no problems. It will keep all your settings in tact.

I'm not sure about the settings question though.

          Thanks sketchy.
I've done as you said, and all is fine indeed.

By "settings" I meant all the things we choose, check, uncheck, in the preferences (not only the keyboard shortcuts and the files paths).

          Thanks !

On my other computer I have SU versions 3, 4, 5 and 6 happily coexisting (haven't fired up v. 3 for a long time, though).
