-
Hi all,
I think it's time to release the first version of my new toy: the Component Spray Tool.
Go here to download: http://www.sketchucation.com/forums/scf/viewtopic.php?f=153&t=4571Options:
- 8 Spray shapes: Point, line, triangle, square, rectangle, circle, spray, selection
- Spray pressure
- Random rotate
- Prevent stacking
- Keep vertical
- Maintain proportions
- Low and high scale values, mirroring
- Low and high steepness constraint
- Low and high altitude constraint
Remember that it is a first release, it may contain bugs (however nothing to harm your computer )
Please comment and report if you find it useful... -
Wow! Late Christmas presents!
Within an hour, at home, I'll be spraying components eveywhere in SU! Great, thanks, Didier! -
Great!!!
Thanks! -
This is just wonderful...thanks a bunch!
-
Thx man!
I see the ruby name (fr_compo_spray.rb) has the "fr" in front which you usually use for your French language scripts, is this one French only or is there an English version as well?
-
Hey Juju, the top zip file contains the English version, too.
-
very nice coding, thanks didier!!!
-
didier,
one more great script! have you noticed it is not possible to print the pdf that comes with it? it requires a password for that.
regards,
-
First quick test looks really great. Thanks!

Been away from the SU community for a long time now, so yesterday I decided to check if there was any new toys around and saw this one: It definitely looks, and works great!
Good work as usual, Didier...and nice guide too.

Hi Didier,
Just got some time to try out this ruby, but I got following error message?
-
Ouch I missed this thread....
I have got to try it out. Sounds really good. -
@ Richcat:
I don't see any reason to get this message if you are using the same version as other users. This let me think that this has something to do with some of your other scripts ? -
Thanks Didier for putting me on the right track.
I kept removing a ruby until it ran without errors, it turns out to be a old RPS one for CDoc_loader for reference, which is no longer used and has been integrated into RP tools now.Again thanks for your help

Frightening avatar BTW
-
wow, this will be great to create custom landscape for major projects, bravo
-
Fantasitc script DB! Tip to those trying out for the first time.
You must have a plane or surface below to get results. -
Just tried it. Very, very nice. Thanks!
-
I just read the .pdf tutorial on this plugin.
It is just unbelievable what this thing can do.
Thanks again Didier. -
"Instancing" within SU, isn't it?
