didier,
one more great script! have you noticed it is not possible to print the pdf that comes with it? it requires a password for that.

-
First quick test looks really great. Thanks!

Been away from the SU community for a long time now, so yesterday I decided to check if there was any new toys around and saw this one: It definitely looks, and works great!
Good work as usual, Didier...and nice guide too.

Hi Didier,
Just got some time to try out this ruby, but I got following error message?
-
Ouch I missed this thread....
I have got to try it out. Sounds really good. -
@ Richcat:
I don't see any reason to get this message if you are using the same version as other users. This let me think that this has something to do with some of your other scripts ? -
Thanks Didier for putting me on the right track.
I kept removing a ruby until it ran without errors, it turns out to be a old RPS one for CDoc_loader for reference, which is no longer used and has been integrated into RP tools now.Again thanks for your help

Frightening avatar BTW

wow, this will be great to create custom landscape for major projects, bravo

Fantasitc script DB! Tip to those trying out for the first time.
You must have a plane or surface below to get results. -
Just tried it. Very, very nice. Thanks!
-
I just read the .pdf tutorial on this plugin.
It is just unbelievable what this thing can do.
Thanks again Didier. -
"Instancing" within SU, isn't it?

True, but in Sketchup you will pretty soon face the poly count limit of the software unfortunately.
However, combined with the real instancing/proxy ability of Skindigo, the spray tool RULES

I spent some time playing around with this indredibly useful tool yesterday. Simply outstanding work! Thanks for the effort Didier!

Moved to the to-do list, along with the "layer mask" option.
-
Didier,
Is it possible to set the spray density to less than 10% ?
For a large scene, placing trees on hills could use a density of 1%, and gradually increase it by repeating the spraying ('stacking' put to off).Right now the plugin warns me sometimes that it will take 'more than 12 minutes' to place 987.235.211 components when using 10 %. I'll bet !
By the way, I just love the spray tool:
