True, but in Sketchup you will pretty soon face the poly count limit of the software unfortunately.
However, combined with the real instancing/proxy ability of Skindigo, the spray tool RULES

I spent some time playing around with this indredibly useful tool yesterday. Simply outstanding work! Thanks for the effort Didier!

Moved to the to-do list, along with the "layer mask" option.

Didier,
Is it possible to set the spray density to less than 10% ?
For a large scene, placing trees on hills could use a density of 1%, and gradually increase it by repeating the spraying ('stacking' put to off).Right now the plugin warns me sometimes that it will take 'more than 12 minutes' to place 987.235.211 components when using 10 %. I'll bet !
By the way, I just love the spray tool:

Cool, thank you so much.
Another really cool feature would be the ability to spray in 'air' ...
In this way we could easily model a flock of birds in the sky, a school of fish, balloons etc...
That would be awesome.
But I don't want to push it , the plugin is already amazing as it is.Regards,

a way to put a real grass...finally

Hi Didier
I would like to use your 'component spray tool' to add life to my models. For that 'point spray' would be greate.
But the problem is, when I 'spray' inside a bulding, the people I add are placed outside the group and on top of the roof, not inside the building as I would like.
I'm I doing something wrong or is it not possible ?
Thanks
