How many do you like to have on the go? and which ones?

personally i like to keep it simple, 5 in total: soap skin buble, sandbox tools, face style, joint push/pull and lighting.

Lots -12+, it would be easier to show a screen shot I guess!
I have a fair amount of screen space so it still leaves plenty of space to model.

You mean on the right? Those are collapsed windows. I use those often, and hate having to go to the main toolbar to open them.

I use a 42" monitor, so displaying my toolbars with our posting restrictions is impossible.

Im kind of pondering getting another screen, do you find the extra space useful solo? would be a shame to blow a lod of cash and then not use it.

                                Absolutely!

I could never go back to 21", way too small.
No need for dual monitors, fantastic for viewport size rendering and line work overlappng in post edit.

                                Work with multiple open windows.

True, but i really dont like having big box monitors on my desk, it means i dont have anywhere to put all my crap. Id rather save up and get something decent.

I would go for the largest monitor you can get your hands on. I recently bought two 24" Soyo LCD's that make my life much easier. Less scrolling and switching. 😍 One is at home working in duet with my Dell laptop. The other is in the office next to a 16" diagonal CRT. The Soyo has a brightness number of 1000 and resolution of 1920x1200. Very bright and very sharp. Makes the detail jump for my old eyes.

I'd love to jump up to Solo's 42"
