Optical Illusion
-
Discovered this by accident. Scroll the screen up slowly so that backrest disappears upward. Attaching the image as well, just to be future proof.

What are we supposed to see? I just see the chair.
-
First I thought I'm just dumb and dared not post that I don't get it either...
-
As the backrest disappears off your screen, does the chair not seem to orbit, sort of like 3D effect? As the angle between the backrest rows and your screen bar changes, the chair seem to rotate on a horizontal axis. Or is it just me?

Maybe it is dependent on a certain screen resolution?
I cannot see that effect. -
And I thought it was just me...
I don't get the effect either... -
So what are we supposed to smoke before we try this?
-
I'm lost too
-
Yeah !
That is efficiently one funny optical illusion effect!!!
Make this with the Mousewheel on the entiere image:
just roolling up roolling down (2 notch) and the chair seems have
a movement of seesaw on it lateral axe!
Like a cradle baby movment!
Funny indeed!Ps with 4 notch it's a sea tempest

Hi Guite, hi folks.
I see the effect too ... and I dont smoke
-
Perhaps I should start smoke...?!?
Ooohhhh... I do already... Look at my avatar...
But I still don't see the effect... -
Well I don't see it and I never inhaled.
How about this one... what do you see?
-
To see it follow Pilou's advice: use the mouse scroll wheel (just a little bit), not the scroll bar.
-
I had this as a wallpaper for a while... but it hurt...
It is a gif BUT it's NOT animated... try downloading it and turning it into something static like a jpg or a pdf and it STILL moves !!!
[I apologise about any copyright issues as I don't know where it came from long ago...]

Well it does seem to rotate a bit using that advice, thanks.

One of my favourites. I wonder how it would work as
a building facadeMike
