Help with using WrapR
-
I am considering purchasing WrapR, so I downloaded and installed the trial version. I have read the available documentation and watched the videos, but since English is not my native language, I could not fully understand the explanations (especially in the videos). The trial period is only 7 days, and one day has already passed, so I have 6 days left. I need to learn and test all the features before the trial ends in order to decide whether to purchase. Is there a complete document that explains all the features of this plugin, or could any forum members who use it provide some guidance in this matter? Any tips or resources would be greatly appreciated.

UV mapping is an advanced topic to cover. WrapR comes with an expectation that the user is already familiar with mapping and needs to create UV maps from SKP meshes.
Without any clearly defined question it is hard to offer advice.
The basic operation would be to group the mesh you want to unwrap. Edit the group and use the Seam Marker tool to mark seams.
Send that group to WrapR for unwrapping. Save your UVs and reimport from WrapR in SketchUp.

Thank you for your reply. I understand that WrapR assumes users are familiar with UV mapping concepts. However, knowing UV theory does not mean I understand how WrapR itself works — its menus, shortcuts, limitations, and integration with SketchUp. What I need is documentation that explains WrapR’s own tools and workflow, not general UV theory.
Also, I would like to ask whether WrapR supports UDIM workflows or multi-tile UV layouts. This is important for my workflow and affects my decision to purchase.
I’m currently testing WrapR during the trial period and need to evaluate all features before it ends. Any guidance or documentation would be greatly appreciated. -

Not fully, but you can place shells outside the 0,1 space.

At the end of the day, in Wrapr it's perfectly supported if you know what you are doing.
The problem is that Sketchup itself doesn't have native support UDIMs in its materials.
So you need to create a different material in order to import back each UDIM tile.
As long as you need to export the model to a different engine with native support for UDIMs, everything is fine and you don't need that workaround. Can you elaborate a bit more what specific workflow you are after, so that maybe we can better help you?
Do you need UDIMs for Substance or something like that? Here's a practical example of something I did using the same exact tecnique shown in the video above:
