      I need help with an irregular shaped push as you can see in the attached image

      I am pretty new to Sketchup and am probably trying to run before I walk, Is this even possible?

        It is possible if you use Fredo's Joint PushPull extension which you have installed.

        I presume it is the faces selected in the image that you want to push inwards to the depth of the already inset area?

        There's lots of ways to tackle it but since you have JPP installed that probably a good start to play around with.

          i have been playing with fredos, but i dont really know what to do with them, and yes, pushing the selected face in.

            Just make sure you set Finishing to remove original face
