Dynamic Components
-
Hi
Could you help me how to solve my issue with dynamic components permanent indent? When I'm changing cabinet depth the indent is moving. The indent always should be 16 mm from back edge.

Resizing with Dynamic Components is a scaling operation. In your model you need to split the front part of the panel off the back as separate components. Then resize the back part and only move the front part with the groove. Maybe something like this.
I made it look like a single piece on the right by hiding the seam lines.

Thank you Dave for your tips. I did it but when I use OpenCut List plugin it shows me as two components. I want to have boths components to be as one part.Do you have an idea how to solve this issue?

Explode the two components and make a single one of the geometry before running Open Cutlist. Or skip the idea of making the cabinet a dynamic component.

Open cutlist does not understand the details with or without a groove. You will have to take this point into account yourself in the cutting.

Hi Jojo2803,
OpenCutList can understand what you need if you use groups for sub parts

I was unaware of that huge detail (sub-groups). This might be a great solution for me.
Thank you Boris, thank you OCL.
