Iria - main car

Alright! It's just detailing from here on. All the main object masses are in place, including underneath.

Under detailing.

@Bryan-K I think you are up against it. I see your first modelling had "joins" as shown in the image I have attached, and then abandoned them as I think the majority of images did not have those details . Just my opinion is I think the model would look better with those details, for what it is worth.
-
Thanks L i am. Those are in fact, landing pads and will be included as part of the detailing.
LOL, as with all the anime ships I've worked on, continuity of the designs by the animators was not good. But I can't really blame them. Low budgets and crazy deadlines will do that.

It looks muddy marvelous mate, agree re the continuity issue.
Looking at all kinds of Sci-Fi vehicles, they have crazy levels of surface detail and frankly it is hard to set a level, you can go on a fractal tangent and fry every synapse going if you are not careful.
-
Adding and refining. Still a ways to go. But the exterior is almost finished.

More cockpit detail. There are almost no references pictures below torso level.
-
Almost finished.
-
A litle more detail for the pilot seat and controls.
-
Some vague rear detailing. Absolutely no pictures of this area behind the main body. Also added slight curve to tail boom base.
-
Well, unless I can think of something else, it's finished. I'm not going into any more detail on the cockpit because references do no exist.
I'm really obsessed with the pilot's chair. It turned out way better than I expected. And all from just pushing around triangles. I need to remember that.
-
Glamour shots coming.
-
Yep, it's done.
-
Four more shots.
